深圳先进院李蕾团队在微塑料污染对脑健康及生殖健康的影响方面取得系列研究成果
Under the guidance and support of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), the research team led by Dr. Lei Li at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is conducting a collaborative project titled “The impact of microplastic pollution on brain and reproductive health and the disruption of organ barrier functions.” As part of this ANSO Joint Research Collaboration Program, the team has made recent progress—together with partner institutions including Jahangirnagar University and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Bangladesh), Kyushu University (Japan), Guilin Medical University, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (China)—in evaluating the effects of microplastics on reproductive and brain health using mammalian models.
